A cellular signal booster (bi-directional amplifier or BDA) is a device that receives an existing outdoor cellular signal via a donor antenna, amplifies it, and rebroadcasts it indoors through a coverage antenna. It is a self-contained solution for smaller spaces where the outdoor signal is usable.
A signal booster is a single device for small spaces. A distributed antenna system (DAS) is an engineered system for large or complex buildings. They are not the same solution. Manley Solutions provides both and recommends the right one based on your building.
